Reddit closes 'jailbait', reveals its seedy side

| Larry Flynt: Prospective Reddit buyer? |
Can you imagine a formerly respectable company like Conde Nast associating their brand with /r/deadkids and /r/beatingwomen? What in the world were they thinking?
As the video says, maybe they were too busy creating their own jailbait magazine issue.
What a disgrace.

Wait a minute. You mean there's an Internet forum where people can post objectionable material? Nope, no way. The entire Internet is clean and pure, I refuse to believe that some rogue website is letting people post offensive stuff.
What oompa loompa?
The little reddit midget in the video who dances around in the silver costume. He looks a lot like disgraced former reddit admin Mike "Oompa Loompa" Schiraldi.

There have always been smut peddlers, even before the advent of the internet (see Larry Flynt). But Conde Nast doesn't own the entire internet.
The surprising part is that a big, otherwise respectable, company like Conde Nast would involve themselves in this. Conde Nast's brand is worth millions. They own the New Yorker, Parade Magazine, Self Magazine and many many others.
Ever worked in marketing? Companies go to great lengths to project a positive image for their brand. Nobody suggested that "the entire Internet is clean and pure", but Conde Nast owns several women's magazines. Why would they sully their reputation with this kind of tawdry perversion? Ever looked at the images on that forum? Some of them border on kiddie porn.
Let's be clear about what "jail bait" means. We're talking about an internet forum devoted to grown men who want to have sex with underage girls. You have 13 year old girls posting provocative pictures of themselves and guys who are decades older getting off, posting "fap fap fap".
That is sick, but there are lots of other subReddits that are even worse.
Why would a major company want to associate their brand name with that?
